For the last 10 years HIP has been located in its great studio warehouse space at 112 street and 102 avenue. This strategic location has lots of parking for staff and visitors, good access to arterial roads and bike routes, and is adjacent to similar businesses and food service facilities. The downtown is the heart of the urban environment that we are invested in improving and provides staff with opportunity to participate in Edmonton’s urban lifestyle.

The open space and high volume to the studio presents an excellent work environment for staff and welcoming front office for clients. The office is organised into pods in an open area that facilitates communication among the various teams. Our office planning approach allows lots of flexibility for design charettes and casual discussions on projects throughout the day. The non-hierarchical approach allows all staff on the project team, no matter what position in the company, to interact with each other.
