Founded as Rule, Wynn, Rule, the firm has evolved through seven decades of practice into our present form of HIP Architects. The longevity of the practice results from internal mentoring of emerging staff by senior members of the firm. Our staff are our primary asset and are committed to servicing our clients, resulting in many repeat clients. We are a mid-sized firm of architects, technologists and interior designers providing consulting services to the Edmonton Region and Northern Alberta.
The firm is led by Partners Stewart Inglis and Randy Krebes who ensure continuity of service from concept to completion on our projects. They are supported by highly qualified and talented professionals many of which have been with the firm for some considerable time. Our diverse range of experience and interests enables us to practice in all areas of urban design and architecture with a particular emphasis on the core areas of commercial and retail, conservation, culture and recreation, industrial, and medical.
We focus on medium scale projects where our client focused delivery approach can effectively benefit our community. Client’s expect creative responses to their unique program, site, and aspirations while trusting they will receive the same consistency of design process and delivery that HIP is known to provide.
Recognised for our design and technical expertise we have worked in partnership with a number of the continents leading firms in the realization of some of Edmonton’s most recognisable urban built works.
As we approach our 75th Anniversary we revere where we have grown from and enthusiastically look forward to our future as a significant architectural design practice in Edmonton.
